NEW DELHI: With demand for co-working space on rise, Vatika Group firm Vatika Business Centre today said it has added 80,000 sq ft of office space, comprising over 1,100 seats, in four cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Faridabad.
With the new addition, Vatika Business Centre has 20 centres across the country covering over 5 lakh sq ft area with more than 5,000 seats. It plans to add 4 new centres this year to reach the targeted revenue of Rs 100 crore from the current around Rs 85 crore.
Vatika Business Centre is set to launch 80,000 sq feet of office space at prime locations, including Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, Thapar House at Connaught Place in New Delhi, Viman Nagar, Pune, and Mindscapes, Faridabad, the company said in a statement.
In these centres, the company will offer serviced offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms and virtual offices. The total seating capacity at these centres will be more than 1,100 seats.
Vatika Hotels MD Gaurav Bhalla said the demand for office space, especially co-working, is increasing rapidly.
Elaborating on the new centres, the company said centre at BKC is spread across 23,000 sq ft with about 350 seats and will be operational by August 2018.
The business centre located in Connaught Place, Delhi at Thapar House is spread across 12,000 sq ft area with about 200 seating capacity. It is scheduled to open from October 2018.
Spread across 36,000 sq ft, the centre in Pune will have 450 seats. Faridabad centre will have more than 100 seats in 8,000 sq ft area.
Vatika Business Centre currently has centres in eight major cities – Gurugram, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Pune and Noida.
