NEW DELHI: Gurgaon-based real estate developer Emaar India said that it has organized a free Clothes Distribution Drive at ‘Gurgaon Greens’ project on Dwarka Expressway in Sector 102, Gurugram, to bring happiness in the lives of its construction workers and their children.
With the philosophy of ‘Welfare for All’, the social welfare initiative was conducted by Emaar India’s CSR wing EMCARE (EMaar Community of Aware and Responsible Employees), in collaboration with Clothes Box Foundation.
Under the initiative, more than 1000 construction labourers employed at the Gurgaon Greens project site -along with female workers & their children – were provided new pair of clothes. The event was also attended by senior officials from Emaar India and Clothes Box Foundation. The Clothes Distribution Drive elicited immense applause and appreciation from labourers & their children, as well as the site contractors.
Emaar India has been conducting several social engagement programs for its construction workforce which comprises the bedrock of growth for the real estate entity. It had earlier conducted a similar Clothes Distribution Drive at The Palm Drive site on Golf Course Extension road.
The company has also been conducting regular free Health check-up & medicine distribution camps for its project workers across Gurugram, which has also benefitted close to 800 labourers thus far.
