GURUGRAM (INDIA): On the occasion of Independence Day, Vatika Group has gifted something truly invaluable to its residents by setting up a new police post in Vatika INXT. It was inaugurated by the Commissioner of Police Sandeep Khirwar in the presence of Gaurav Bhalla, Managing Director, Vatika Hotels.
A permanent police station will also be set up soon which will cover sectors 81 to 85.
Sandeep Khirwar (Commissioner of Police, Gurugram) said, “We’re always happy to help the residents and also, want to assure them that we’re taking serious steps to improve the law-and-order situation. Honorable CM is also determined to open more such posts in New Gurugram area. This will mark the initiative to achieve bigger objectives.” He also added – “As promised, Vatika achieved this milestone within 15 days and came up with the police post which will be under the Kherki Daula Police Station and SHO shall visit the post on a regular basis.”
Tuhin (Resident, Vatika INXT) said, “We appreciate the efforts by Vatika and the Gurugram Police for setting up this much needed police post in such a short span of time. This will definitely boost the security in the area and induce the feeling of administrative support and attention for this part of new Gurugram”
The newly inaugurated police post will help in better monitoring of the area with prompt response and currently, it has been set up in a built up area offered by the developer Vatika. The Group has also donated two PCR vans while promising three more in near future. The developer has also provided drivers for the PCR vans. These apart, it has decided to increase the number of CCTV cameras and double the number of security guards for better vigilance in the area.
Additionally, enviro – an integrated facility management unit of Vatika has identified 8 entry & exit points in the current township wherein society gates would be installed along with security guards and CCTV cameras to keep the premises intrusion free.
Gaurav Bhalla (Managing Director, Vatika Hotels ) said,“We always endeavor to provide a safe and secure environment in all our townships. This is one such step to fulfill the bigger objective of inducing a sense of peace and safety among all our residents. This police post would certainly help towards the betterment of law and order situation in the area.”
“A dedicated Police Station for the area is already in progress. The new Police Station shall further tighten the security in Vatika INXT and surrounding areas,” Bhalla further added.
A team of Gurugram police led by police commissioner, Sandeep Khirwar, had earlier visited the spot and inspected the site, which has already been earmarked for setting up the proposed police station.
