NEW DELHI (INDIA): The urban development ministry is preparing a report card on its Smart City Mission as the scheme is set to complete two years of its launch this June.
The ministry is compiling data under various heads, like the number of projects completed and those being implemented, an official said on Monday.
Launched on June 25, 2015, the mission aims to develop 100 smart cities across the country in a five-year period.
So far, 60 cities have been selected for the scheme and another 40 will be announced by end of June.
