NEW DELHI (INDIA):Recently, Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI-CREDAI) concluded the second successful edition of BIZNET. The one of its kind networking forum ensured likeminded partners meet for business purposes, efficiently fulfilling the objective of bridging the demand and supply of building / construction material industry and be a catalyst to bulk buying in real estate.
BIZNET has poised to become a very meaningful & prominent relationship building platform between the buyers & sellers which could also drove bulk orders/ purchases. The event was attended by 100 + developers in Pune at Hotel Westin that lived up to its theme of Lifestyle, Innovation, and Networking & Technology. The event was supported by CREDAI PUNE METRO. Biznet was inaugurated by Dr. N. Ramaswamy, Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, Maharashtra as Chief Guest, Shri. R. Vaithianathan, Managing Director – Tata Capital Housing Finance Ltd., Shri Raghuram Shetty, DGM, SBI Pune as Guests of Honour.

Speaking on the occasion, S.S. Hussain, CEO, MCHI – CREDAI said, “Driven by the upbeat scenario, CREDAI-MCHI hosted the highly successful second edition of BIZNET so that developers and ancillary unit manufacturers there could successfully contribute to the growth story of the city. CREDAI Pune has supported the event in a big way. The biggest USP of this BIZNET is the place – PUNE which has progressed from retiree’s paradise to becoming home to young & exuberant IT professionals.”
Speaking about Biznet, Rajeev Jain, National Convener, BIZNET said, “Idea of Biznet was to make developers and brands come together on a single platform where brands could showcase all the products to developers like tiles, lifts, pipes and other related materials and also network together. This way both brands and developers are benefitted where developer gets good rate and brands get good business. We want to create an intelligence team in Biznet which will interact with all the developers to know about their sourcing requirements. We want to take Biznet to pan India level.”
T.D. Joseph, Business Head – CREDAI – MCHI, the man behind the show, deftly handled the question – why Pune? Said, “ Pune has proven to be a city of choice owing to its location, well developed infrastructure and host of residential and commercial property options. Moreover, Pune is part of Government of India’s smart city projects where construction activity is at its best with many a luxurious projects coming up along with affordable housing.”
Abdul Kader Bengali, Divisional Head, Pidilite Industries, who won the First Prize shared, “I believe BIZNET is a very effective platform as allows manufacturers/ solution providers like us to connect with large target audience under one roof. We participated for the first time and it is really commendable on part of CREDAI – MCHI for appreciating the innovations we have brought in.”
Surprise visitor of the evening was Shri Nayan Bheda of Neptune group who expressed, “Whole fraternity along with their business heads should be here at BIZNET. I am really happy to see so much activity here at the stalls here.”
The customary award ceremony in the evening was attended by one and all where the award for best presentations went to Pidilite Industries (Winner), Schindler India (Ist Runner Up) and Samsung India
