MUMBAI (INDIA): Cement major ACC today said Neeraj Akhoury has taken charge as its managing director and chief executive, after being appointed in December last year.
Akhoury, who joins the company from Lafarge Surma Cement, where he was the chief executive, took charge last Saturday, the ACC said in a statement today.
“This is an exciting phase for the company and the cement industry as the government moves ahead with its agenda for transformative economic growth,” he was quoted as saying.
Akhoury added he will focus on customer service, operating performance and cost competitiveness.
